30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 15 - Silhouette

Today's challenge was interesting.  So far it was my least inspiring day but I did learned a bit, had some fun with the girls and in the end - I am content with the result.

Half way through this 30 day challenge and I am really enjoying the overall experience.  Like I said today was not as inspiring as I had thought...but maybe I'm just tired...or glad it's the weekend.  But I love all that I am learning about my camera, how to use it better and becoming much more familiar with it.  I love the encouragement to pull it out, even for just a few brief moments each day, to photograph the everyday.  I am also really enjoying what others are doing as they take part in this photography challenge!!  What do you think, this just might have to become an annual thing...?!?!

  1. Oh my goodness Kaitlin, these silhouette creative photos are gorgeous!! I love them.

What kind of camera do you have? My husband got me a Canon Rebel T3 for Christmas and I need to figure out how to use it.

  3. Wow...that first one can look like a candle (like those dual pictures in psychology books where a picture can look two different ways).

  4. Glad you have little girls who like the camera. :) They are cute whether you see their faces or just their silhouette. :)

  5. I like silhouette portraits, it would be neat to take more as the girls get older to compare. I remember when I was about ten my mom had us sit against a sunny wall and traced our shadow profile onto black paper and cut them out. I thought it was so cool!
