30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 21 - Faceless Self-Portrait

This is how you'll find me most mornings between 5:00 and 6:00 am.

No; not every morning and some weeks, not as often as I would like...but this is the corner of my home, where I purpose to set aside time to meet with our Lord. It is here where I pray, think...refocus, pray some more...stop my wandering mind to pray again.  I read from His word; I write down thoughts, ponder what lies before me, wave goodbye to my hubby as he goes off to work, watch the sun rise and greet my kids as they awake for the day.

Satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14

  1. Its nice, girly,to think that when I am sitting reading and praying, you are too. Our great minds were thinking alike for our photo challenge today, but you added a lovely scripture!

  2. I love this... and so much (very much) want this to be my story, too.

I'm glad you get to have to quiet time in the mornings - when you are able.

  3. It's right by your wallpaper wall that I look forward to seeing next time I visit. :) My quiet time doesn't have a specific home... sometimes I'm in my bed (bad idea in the morning as I want to fall asleep again) and sometimes it's on my couch and sometimes it's not so quiet as I listen to scripture while making breakfast and getting ready for the day (those are the days that I've slept in, but I still want to make it a priority to be in God's Word).
